Especially for our clients we offer a free valuation of diamonds bought at BAUNAT (but not earlier than one year after purchase). This evaluation equates to the purchase price at which BAUNAT can purchase the same diamond at the source on that very moment, increased by 5%. We are confident that this purchase price increased by 5%, will always be below the price at which traditional jewelers can purchase diamonds. In other words, if the prices since moment of purchase haven’t fallen (and forecasts don’t indicate they will, see this link), the chances are very high that your diamond (purchased at BAUNAT) can be sold with a profit. This is certainly the case when re-selling to end consumers (for example via e-Bay and other commonly used sales channels), but also when re-selling to traditional jewelers, as our valuation is likely to be below their purchase price limits.
Summarized, this way of valuation will favour the liquidity and salability of your diamond. Whereby you directly benefit from the fact that you have purchased at an exceptional price…
And BAUNAT even goes a step further; BAUNAT will always consider buying your diamond (at the price at which BAUNAT can buy at that time, so the estimated value minus 5%), but this is of course without any guarantee. This possible repurchase by BAUNAT will always depend on the following two factors:
- The number of similar diamonds that we have in stock on that specific moment
- The current demand for diamonds with similar specifications
